About Louise For about the last 15 years Louise has been slowly continuing her yoga journey, one, which she hopes, will last a lifetime. When Louise first attended classes all those years ago she could barely touch her toes and understands that while it is good to be challenged it takes time and attention to be truly open and able in a yoga practice. Louise regularly attended classes and workshops in several different yoga styles developing a physical awareness of the body for many years before deciding to undertake Yoga Teacher training with the Australian College of Classical Yoga, which was completed in 2004. Currently Louise is exploring Zen Buddhism as part of her personal journey of self-study, which she practices regularly. Louise is a Member of the Yoga Teachers Association of Australia (YTAA) and the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IYAT). The students in one of Louise's class will find themselves flowing through their class following the rhythm of the breath without too much interruption or holding of postures. This is intended to keep the body moving so the mind has little chance to be distracted. Louise understands that for the students every day is a new day on the mat and hopes that the student should learn to listen and accept their own body however it is. About Denis Denis was practising Iyengar yoga for over 10 years when he decided to do his teacher training at CAE in 2006. Denis is inspired in his personal practice by Shadow Yoga and the principles of form and alignment that come from his experience of Iyengar Yoga. His teaching is aimed at encouraging beginners to gently enjoy the practice of a more traditional form of Hatha Yoga with a deeper understanding of that Yoga is a spiritual practice.
